It’s amazing how time is scooting by so quickly. I can’t believe its been 6 weeks since I got here.

I have a job. Thanks to Ryan’s friend, Dave, who got his boss to talk to me. I am a receptionist at a car dealership. I don’t start for another week though. I’m excited about it. It’s fulltime. It’ll be nice to be working. I’m very thankful something came up. I was starting to panic. Just shows that the Lord, as always, is so faithful.

I love my new house. My roommates are lovely.

I have a couple interviews this week for other job opportunities.

I really just want to do photography. And thats one thing I’ve realized. I miss it. And I wish I knew how to market myself.

The end.

Ryan and I went on a nice little joyride today, it was gorgeous. We drove up a really curvy road which was very fun on his motorcycle. We stopped at a huge Veteran’s Memorial that had this beautiful overlook of town. And we took alot of photos.

Enjoy the many faces of us. Click to enlarge.

I got hired as a full-time receptionist today. :) More to come…

Ryan’s good friend, Dave, celebrated his birthday yesterday and we partook in the festivities by going to a Luau! Which was my first Luau I’ve ever been to. It was alot of fun! And while all the tourists were taking photos of the sunset on the beach, Ryan and I sat down to take a photo with the highly overlooked Do Not Enter sign.

I’m really beginning to freak out now that I’ve moved into my new place.

I have 3.5 weeks to make way more money than I’ve made in a couple of months…and I still haven’t heard back from any job. I really need prayer…I don’t want to fall apart here.

I have 20 dollars left to my name until I can find a job.

I know God isn’t going to leave me stranded…And I just have to believe that.

My little room didn’t take too long to fill up with the few things I have. Ryan was gracious enough to let me use his mat to sleep on, which is great. And my roommates gave me a table to use as a nightstand, which is also very nice. It took about, oh, 30 minutes to set everything up and put it all where I want it. So now I’m all moved in.

A little detail my roommates left out, is the infestation of the ants in this house. They are everywhere, in everything. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, right now I just feel like I have little tiny bugs crawling all over me. It’s kind of gross, but I guess theres not really anything I can do about it. I’m happy to be living here.

Now I just have to get the courage to go socialize…I keep hiding away in my room. Infact, I ended up spending the afternoon at Ryan’s…It seemed weird being alone, so I went to be alone at his place while he was at work instead. It made me feel better.

Now what?

Moving Day!!

02Sep08

I can’t even believe that I have this much stuff. I guess its just a small handful compared to most people when they move, but I just came with that red suitcase and a backpack…so where did it all come from?

I haven’t gotten to my new place yet, I’ll have pics when I do!!
